About
Founded in 1995, Brandeis Starving Artists has been delighting audiences on- and off-campus for many years with innovative arrangements, full sound, eclectic style, and infectious energy. The group has proudly released five studio albums since 1999, with "Order Up!" as the most recent album. Starving Artists competes in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA’s), reaching the Semifinal round in 2010 and also taking home the Best Vocal Percussion Award two years in a row. The group organizes a “Will Sing for Food” concert each fall, collecting non-perishable items and donating contributions to local food shelters. Starving Artists also takes pride in coordinating the annual campus-wide benefit concert, A Cappella Fest, as a part of the Festival of the Arts program at Brandeis University. The concert features all of Brandeis’ a cappella groups and collects donations for local charities. Starving Artists looks forward to touring in the upcoming year at colleges, high schools, charity events, and private functions.
